Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American author, singer and actress best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began in stage shows during the 1950s starting in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming famous in the national stage area with Li'l abner's in 1957. The same year, she debuted her debut musical album, This is Tina Time. Louise first made it to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre a 1957 drama film. The film was hugely popular and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. During this time she joined the Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work in between Broadway television and Hollywood, portraying more somber characters as opposed to her perception as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also been a popular director for well-known television series such as Supernatural or The 100. Born on the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent throughout her early years. She settled in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
