Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author also a model, actor and author. Her films include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). Her desire to be an artist was influenced by her family background within the New York family of artists. When she was a photographer's assistant She turned her focus towards modeling and acting. MacGraw was noticed in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world fame along with several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office star of the world after only three releases. In 1972, her foot-prints and autograph were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Some of the films she's been in include The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw was divorced three times.
